The golfer in this cartoon seems to have a problem focusing on the ball.  Although he never made contact with the ball, the momentum of his swing has caused  his legs to act like a corkscrew.

As  one grows older, he (or she) has the honor of making more restroom pit stops than they did in their younger years.  This may be one  of God’s ways to keep old people humble.  As those of you who play the game of golf know …. restrooms are usually scarce and far apart on a golf course but the wiley senior citizen in this humorous cartoon has found a way to beat the system.

I was visiting one of my good church friends a few weeks ago and he was telling about his son Bert ( not his true name to protect the innocent) who is a freshman at a major University in Texas.  His son was visiting one of his buddies on the campus of another University and those two, along with some other mutual friends were playing poker.  If a person  lost a hand then the other kids would dream up some stupid thing for him to do.  One of Bert’s assignments was to get naked and run around the house.  To make the story even juicier…… they were on the campus of a Baptist University.

Well, Bert seemed to perform his assignment admirably….much to the chagrin of his parents when they found out about it.  I think his parents wrote the whole episode off as “College kids will do the dumbest things”

After hearing this hilarious story I couldn’t wait to get back home and capture the event with a cartoon.
